The great thing about homemade draught excluders is that you can recycle lots of old fabric and use it to fill them. Old socks, laddered tights, offcuts of yarn, and old clothes all make ideal filling for draught excluders. There’s no need to go out and buy special stuffing – it’s actually far more eco friendly to recycle old fabric from around your home.
Likewise, if you old fabric draught excluder is looking a bit shabby, an easy way to recycle it is just to make a new cover for it.
